I am walking the Norfolk Coastal path for my Queen’s Guide
expedition and am looking for people to come along with me. The walk is taking
place over 4 days (3 nights) and we will be camping each night in different
locations along the way. The walk is roughly 50 miles in total, beginning on 26th
August and finishing on 29th August (that’s August bank holiday
weekend). The only costs involved are campsite fees (very cheap!) and food. I
can also arrange for transport to and from the route. I am happy for people to
come along for one or two days or for the whole weekend. Please drop me an
email if you are interested,

Girlguiding UK is recruiting Senior Section
members to join their Advocate! panel, which helps to shape national
research, policy and public affairs work.
The panel meets
three times a year at CHQ in London, and over the last year members have worked
on our Girls’ Attitudes Survey and the airbrushing petition, attended political
party conferences and received media training.
It’s a great
opportunity for Senior Section members to get their voices heard within guiding
and across the nation, and no prior experience is needed.
Further
information and the application form will be available on the Girlguiding UK and Senior Section websites from 31 May.
