WET AND WILD WEEKEND

18th – 19th June 2011

 At: - Mike Thurston Water Activities Centre, North Walsham

                                  (On small enclosed lake)     

Saturday 9.30 - 4.30pm

v  Brownies (aged 9-10 , school year 5/6 only) (Brownie groups must be accompanied by Guider/Helper)

Younger Guides (age 10-11, school years 6/7)  

Sunday 9.30 – 4.30pm (with option to camp overnight on Saturday from 5pm)

v  Older Guides (age 12+), Senior Section members, adult leaders / unit helpers / Trefoil members

All applicants must be able to swim 50 metres

Go cupcake crazy with this new badge from 1st South Walsham Guides - it's yummy! Complete the badge, which is suitable for all sections, in meeting time or use it as a theme for camps and pack holidays. You don't necessarily need a kitchen and there are five different sections to choose from - Crazy gakes (games), Crafty Cakes, Bake the Cake (indoor and outdoor), Clever Cakes (puzzles) and Icing on the Cake (the sticky bit!). The Guides designed the challenges  themselves and tested them on Rangers, Rainbows and Brownies. We're selling the badges at £1 each to raise money for our Switzerland 2012 trip.
