Recieved the following communications from Donna Cavan 1st Colwood Pathfinders, Victoria, British Columbia. Can anyone assist?
Hi
I am a Pathfinder Guider from Victoria, British Columbia
and we are planning a trip to England and Switzerland for the summer of
2013. I am not sure what time it is
there but if anyone gets this could you reply as soon as possible. I know this is a year and a half away but I
am being hassled into getting all our paperwork in as soon as possible.
Pathfinders are members of Girl Guides who are 12-14
years old.

Message from Maurice Cornelius
International Adviser – Norfolk Trefoil Guild
When Olave Baden-Powell died, her
grandson Lord Robert Baden-Powell inherited her badges. He recently donated
them to be sold in aid of the WAGGGS Global Girls Fund – a £10 million fund set
up to develop Guiding throughout the world, especially where the need is
greatest.
The badges are estimated to be valued
at £25-£30,000 and some UK members have pledged themselves to raise the money to
purchase them for the Movement rather than sell them to private collectors, in
order that this and future generations of Guides may see them.
