Deadly Scene Investigators!!
Monday, 05 September 2011

I’m holding  events at Holkham National Nature Reserve which may be of interest to Brownie and Guide groups (perhaps older Rainbows too).

The Deadly Scene Investigation event is linked to CBBC’s Live ‘n’ deadly TV programme and involves solving clues, in a ‘DSI’ notebook, through the pinewoods, the answer can then be entered on the CBBC website to activate further activities. There is no charge to take part (but note that Wells Beach car park has a pay and display charge). See poster attached for details.

NEXT BP CHALLENGE WEEKEND

18-20 November at Bidwell

Could Leaders please be reminded to send info and pictures of when their girls are awarded their BP Challenge badge for inclusion in the BS? I think it's important to recognise the achievement in being awarded this as we appreciate how much work goes into it.

There is more BP Challenge information on the BP Challenge part of the website along the top menu bar.

Put Your Money Where Your Bra Is!
Monday, 15 August 2011

Men and women all over Norfolk will be showing their support for people affected by breast cancer on 7th September, by linking bras around the Norwich Castle. We need to get 1000 bras in order to link them all the way around - can you help?

Bring along a bra - an old one, a new one, as long as it's filled with cash we'll be happy! There's also a Fancy Bra Competition, which is being judged by The Lord Mayor of Norwich - pimp up your bra and the wackiest one wins!

The winner will receive vouchers for a pamper day at Jarrolds and a bottle of wine so it's well worth the effort. The competition is being judged by The Right Worshipful the Lord Mayor of Norwich at 1.30pm so make sure you arrive before that! Get your friends to sponsor you too! (Go to Justgiving for an easy way to get sponsorship).

Jarrolds are also giving away vouchers to every registered participant. Even more reason to come along and link up those C cups!
