Fundraising and Grants
Tuesday, 26 July 2011

There is a lot of information on the GirlguidingUK website in the Member area, running your unit, Finance and insurance, fundraising advice library.  Although a lot of reading I think it could be helpful, also there is a link to http://www.how2fundraise.org/.

I have also filled in lots of grant form the last couple of months, one of which was a lottery grant, I got turned down on two points one of which was not having more than two members on my committee. It is always a good idea to put down your local commissioner as a unrelated person on your governing body or management committee. The other reason was I didn't show the project met the awards for all programme outcomes.
