Tilly and Daisy meet Girlguideasaurus
At the end of 2021, 1st Gayton Brownies were set the county challenge of naming a dinosaur that was going to represent Girlguiding Norfolk as part of the 2022 Go Go Discover trail in aid of Break Charity.
The Brownies chatted in pairs to come up with their favourite ideas and the winning name ‘Girlguideasaurus’ was the inspired suggestion from Tilly Clarke and Daisy Fakenbridge.
This weekend the girls (and their leaders) were delighted to meet the beautiful Girlguideasaurus at Bookbugs and Dragon Tales bookshop where they received their prizes, which included a book of their choice and a special Girlguiding Norfolk ‘I met Girlguideasaurus’ badge presented by Assistant County Commissioner Doreen Brookes.
Tilly, aged 10, and so now moved on to Guides, said, “I love that Girlguideasaurus is so bright and colourful and represents the Girlguiding community.”
