Our very own radio star!

Helen Green, our County Archivist and champion of our Archive Resource Centre (ARC) was the guest of Paul Hayes on Radio Norfolk on 1st October.

Helen chose her favourite music ( including a piece written and sung by her 8 year old granddaughter) and had the opportunity to talk about growing up in Canada.

Helen talked about many of her experiences in guiding over the years, including working for Girlguiding headquarters and promoting guiding nationally. Of course the ARC was not left out! She told the listeners about how the ARC came into being, and described how we have such a significant and unique collection here in Norfolk.

If you didn’t get a chance to listen you can hear it here on Radio Norfolk

Helen’s piece starts at 2.08 and lasts about 50 minutes. It will be available until the end of October.
