At the beginning of a new term units usually hold a pow-wow so that girls can contribute ideas of what they would like to do. A pow-wow is a chat where the unit comes together to share their ideas and decide how they can be achieved.
Meetings are usually full of challenges, team building, learning new skills, indoor/outdoor activities and games whilst working in small groups called sixes.
The aim is for girls to learn about themselves, the community and the world whilst earning interest or adventure badges in a safe fun environment.
Girls can also work on their interest badges at home by completing the clauses and taking their work into their unit to be tested.
Brownie Leaders love seeing the Brownies going home with a huge smile on their faces because they have had so much fun at Brownies.
