Division and district commissioners

Each division in the county has a commissioner, who supports and is supported by the district commissioners in their divisions.

Each division in the county has a commissioner, and most districts also have district commissioner.  You can find out more about the divisions under their individual pages, including how to contact them.

Division commissioners – are county trustees and responsible for the management of county matters. They represent their division at county exec meetings and support the county team in ensuring that the Girlguiding policies are followed at a local level.

District commissioners – for unit leaders, this is your first point of contact. It will be someone you know locally and they can support you to find your unit the support you need as a leader. They are great team builders and make sure that they take information from you to division meetings, so that the division commissioner is representing your ideas at county meetings.

District and divisions also have other roles which help to support you at unit level. Treasurers, LDP mentors, going away mentors are always in demand – if you feel that you would like to get involved, speak to your commissioner today.
