and Cawston to the South. To the North is just the North Sea!

We are made up of three districts, Aylsham, Felbrigg and North Walsham.  Each district has a number of Rainbow, Brownie and Guide units and a Ranger unit, as well as a Trefoil group

Starting at 4 years old, our Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers are aware that we help girls know that they can do anything. We give girls a space to belong and have fun. We show them leadership skills and listen to them – the latest research has resulted in 72 new interest badges and the many took part in the consultation over the uniform redesign due in 2026. Every year we hold a Girls Attitude Survey, to understand the problems they face in today’s world – and what we can do to help them.

Like many voluntary organisations we are always keen to encourage more volunteers. Volunteering with us isn’t just about campfires and helping girls to get their next badge – although those are special moments. It’s about empowering girls and giving them new experiences. It’s helping girls realise their own potential, sharing and developing your skills, all while having the time of your life.

The North Norfolk division tries to have a division event each year. We either do an outing, which often includes going out of Norfolk e.g. we have been to Colchester Zoo and Warwick Castle, or we hold a fun day for all sections to enjoy at either a local school or guiding centre as we are very close to Patteson Lodge and Hautbois Activity Centre.  We take it in turns to have a large Thinking Day event e.g. our most recent “Dance Around The World” or carol service in one of the district churches.
